Palm Springs Man, 34, Struck and Killed in Hesperia

HESPERIA, Calif. (Feb. 26, 2024) — Jaime Munguia, 34, of Palm Springs, died Saturday in a pedestrian accident on Main Street, just west of Pyrite Avenue and east of Escondido Avenue in Hesperia.

The deadly crash occurred at around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 24th according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

Police responded to the crash scene on Main Street and located 34-year-old Jaime Munguia suffering major injuries. The Palm Springs was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:42 a.m.

Finally, an investigation is underway by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Hesperia Station.

The case remains under investigation.
