Fatal Monterey Park Head-On Crash West Floral Drive
MONTEREY PARK (February 10, 2020) – Jaime Tellez Solis, 35, of Monterey Park, died Sunday in a head-on collision in the area of West Floral Drive and Valley Vista Drive.
The fatal accident took place about 4 p.m. near the 60 Freeway, according to KTLA News.
The Monterey Park Fire Department responded to help those involved, but sadly upon their arrival they pronounced Solis dead at the scene.
A second person was found trapped in one of the cars and had to be extricated by firefighters. The person was transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
A witness told authorities that one of the drivers involved was allegedly speeding prior to the crash.
