 Fatal Pleasanton Rollover Crash Interstate 680 Freeway; DUI SuspectedStockton Woman Arrested After Fatal Crash

PLEASANTON, Calif. (Oct. 3, 2022)  —  Jamari Ross, of San Lorenzo, died in a rollover crash in Pleasanton on the Interstate 680 Freeway on Sept. 10th when he was ejected from the vehicle.

The fatal crash occurred about 5:45 a.m. on Sept. 10th, according to East Bay Times.

Additionally, the suspected driver of the Mercedes Benz survived and police arrested her on suspicion of drunk driving.

Authorities reported the vehicle went over a cement barrier on Interstate 680 Freeway. During the collision, Jamari Ross was thrown out of the vehicle and died at the scene of the crash.

Police arrested the Stockton woman on suspicion of drunk driving after the crash. She admitted she was driving the vehicle and agreed to a blood test that confirmed she was roughly above the legal limit for alcohol by 50 percent, police said.

So far, there are no charges pending and the woman was released from police custody. The fatal crash remains under investigation.
