Electric Bicycle Fatally Hits Man at Mill Valley-Sausalito Area
Mill Valley, CA (September 21, 2022) – James Charles Gordon, a 63-year-old Sausalito resident, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred near Gate 6 Road.
The Patch News reported a man was riding an electric bicycle traveling in the Mill Valley-Sausalito area on August 31. For reasons still unclear, the motorist struck a male party walking on the pedestrian-bicycle path near Gate 6 Road. The horrible crash took place at approximately 8:40 p.m.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident Near Gate 6 Road
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian unconscious and unresponsive. Paramedics rushed the injured party to an area hospital for medical treatment and interventions. Sadly, the patient failed to improve and his health continued to decline. The victim sadly died on September 6, Tuesday. Authorities identified the deceased as James Charles Gordon, of Sausalito.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver of the electric bike involved in the unfortunate event.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate liability in the deadly accident that happened near Gate 6 Road in Mille Valley.
