James Ingram, 71, Killed in Tulare Pedestrian Crash on Blackstone Street
TULARE, CA (May 4, 2022) – James Ingram was killed after a pedestrian crash on North Blackstone Street in Tulare.
Police identified the 71-year-old Tulare man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Tuesday night.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck James Harris Ingram for an unknown reason in the city of Tulare. The driver hit him in the 300 block of North Blackstone Street.

James Ingram sustained serious injuries as a result of the pedestrian accident. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found him down in the middle of the road.
Medical personnel soon rushed the man to the Adventist Health Tulare, where he died. The Visalia Times Delta and Your Central Valley wrote that the incident occurred on May 3 at around 9 p.m.
Meanwhile, police added that the driver stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim. Officers forced a stretch of Blackstone Street to shut down for a time following the incident.
The cause of the Tulare pedestrian crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information can call the police at 684-4290.
