75-year-old man killed at Berrellesa and Green streets in Martinez
MARTINEZ, Calif. (Jan. 9, 2019) — James Kendrick, 72, of Crockett, was killed in a pedestrian accident Monday night at Berrellesa and Green streets, according to the Martinez Police Department.
The crash took place at 8:45 p.m. at the intersection. Police officers arrived at the scene where they found the injured man lying in the roadway. Paramedics started life-saving measures before Kendrick was transported to John Muir Hospital where he later died of his injuries.
The driver of the involved vehicle stopped and cooperated with the investigation, police said. At this time, drugs and or alcohol are not believed to be factors.
