Pedestrian Struck, Killed on Arrow Boulevard
FONTANA, Calif. (Oct. 6, 2023) — James Matthew Lightner Sr., 54, of Fontana, died in a pedestrian accident on Arrow Boulevard on Sept. 29th in Fontana.
The deadly crash occurred around 9:53 p.m. on Friday, September 29th, according to the Fontana Police Department.
Fontana police and firefighters responded to the 16500 block of Arrow Boulevard after a report about a traffic collision, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
Meanwhile, authorities located the injured Fontana man in the roadway and pronounced him dead at the scene.
He was later identified by the coroner as 54-year-old James Matthew Lightner Sr., the report said.
Finally, the traffic accident remains under investigation by the Fontana Police Department.
