Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle at New Stine Road and Belle Terrace
Bakersfield, CA (June 3, 2022) – James Earl Posey Jr., a 55-year-old Bakersfield resident, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of New Stine Road and Belle Terrace.
The KGET News reported a vehicle struck an individual in the 600 block of Stine Road near the intersection at Belle Terrace. Officials said the collision took place Saturday evening. No immediate information was available on the description of the car involved in the horrible crash.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Bakersfield
Shortly after 8:45 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the person lying on the ground. According to the article published online, the pedestrian sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Due to the condition of the victim, medical personnel rushed him to a hospital. The patient later sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as 55-year-old James Earl Posey Jr.
Authorities mentioned the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident at New Stine Road and Belle Terrace.
