James Richard Robles, 27, Killed in Motorcycle Crash at Chester Avenue and Roberts Lane
LOCATION: Oildale, Kern County

December 24, 2018 – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision at the intersection of N. Chester Avenue and Roberts Lane, according to a local news source.

Officials said 27-year-old James Richard Robles was riding a motorcycle in the area Saturday morning. For reasons still under investigation, Robles crashed into a Dodge Avenger that drove through the intersection at the same time. The impact caused Robles to be ejected from his bike, and thrown onto the roadway.
As per the KGET News, Robles was rushed to Kern Medical where he was sadly pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, no immediate information has been yet released on the other driver involved. Authorities said it is still unclear who ran the red light, and caused the crash.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
