James Seier Injured, Man Killed in Littlerock Motorcycle Accident on Highway 138
LITTLEROCK (September 6, 2018) – A motorcyclist was killed and another was injured after an alleged DUI crash on Highway 138 Wednesday afternoon, according to The Antelope Valley Times.
The accident was reported at 4:18 p.m. near 72nd Street East.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said two men were riding Harley Davidson motorcycles west on Highway 138 when at the same time 40-year-old Mickey Oden was driving a 2003 Nissan east.
Oden made a left turn ahead of the bikes, causing one of motorists to hit the right side of the Nissan. The rider was thrown from his motorcycle which ultimately collided with the other bike.

CHP affirmed that the ejected victim, a man in his 20s, died as a result of the crash. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
The second rider, 28-year-old Port Hueneme resident James Seier, sustained minor injuries including an abrasion to his right arm.
Meanwhile officials believed that Oden, who complained of pain to the chest after the wreck, was drunk at the time. The Llano man was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and was booked at the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station with a bail set at $100,000.
