Bicycle Rider James Williamson , 63, Killed in Rancho Cucamonga Crash
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (October 10, 2022) – Bicycle rider James Williamson was killed after a crash in Rancho Cucamonga.
The coroner’s office identified the 63-year-old Fontana man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place last week on Tuesday.
The incident happened when James Zoltan Williamson was riding a bicycle west on Victoria Park Lane in Rancho Cucamonga. At the same time, a vehicle was going north on Rochester Avenue.
Man Hit by Driver
Deputies said the bicyclist then made a right turn onto Rochester. In the process, the driver and the cyclist collided in the intersection.
The Fontana Herald News wrote that the accident occurred on October 4 at about 5:44 p.m. James Williamson ended up suffering from serious injuries as a result of the crash.
Paramedics rushed him to the San Antonio Regional Hospital, where he soon died. Meanwhile, deputies did not mention if the motorist stopped or stayed at the site following the collision.
