Big Rig Collides With Pickup Truck
JAMESTOWN (December 20, 2018)- According to the California Highway Patrol, an injurious collision was reported this morning at an unspecified time involving two vehicles.
Authorities were dispatched to the crash site where a pickup truck and a big rig had collided.
At least one occupant inside the pickup truck was confirmed to have incurred minor to moderate injuries for which they were taken to a hospital.
Following the accident, traffic was stalled for an unknown period of time while authorities gathered information and perused the scene.
No details were provided in regards to the cause of the crash which is under investigation.

Pending the investigation, the company employing the big rig driver could be held liable for the collision. Authorities will examine photos that were taken of the scene as well as compiled evidence will help investigators determine the ultimate cause of the collision.
