At Least 1 Killed in Traffic Collision on Rawhide Road Friday
Jamestown, CA (July 2, 2021) – A fatal car crash occurred on Rawhide Road Friday evening, according to My Motherlode News.
Primary reports indicated a solo-vehicle drove down an embankment near Highway 108 in Jamestown. The automobile ended up smashing into a tree along Rawhide Road.

Shortly after 5 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the site and found occupants trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters worked extensively to pull out the victims, including one person with serious injuries. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Responding officers shut down Rawhide Road to give way to the investigation process. At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the car crash in Jamestown.
