Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Jamestown Crash at Highway 49/108 and Rawhide Road
JAMESTOWN, CA (June 26, 2022) – A crash seriously injured a motorcyclist at Highway 49/108 and Rawhide Road in Jamestown.
According to an article published by My Mother Lode, the accident took place on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 9:20 a.m.
The incident happened on June 25 when the the motorcycle rider and an SUV collided for an unknown reason in Jamestown.
The California Highway Patrol said the two crashed on Highway 49/108 at the intersection with Rawhide Road.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist lying on the ground. The patient sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
An air ambulance took the wounded party to a Modesto hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the incident. Officers forced the area of Highway 49/108 and Rawhide Road to shut down after the wreck.
The cause of the Jamestown crash is still under investigation.
