Motorcyclist Injured in Accident on Chicken Ranch Road
DATE OF INCIDENT: Thursday, May 31st
June 1, 2018– According to MyMotherLode, a major injury motorcycle accident was reported last night on Chicken Ranch Road near Highway 108.
California Highway Patrol officials were dispatched to the crash site which transpired around 4:20 p.m. between a Yamaha motorcycle and a Nissan Sentra.
Reports indicate that the motorcyclist who has not been identified suffered injuries described as serious and was subsequently rushed to an emergency room for their injuries.
A photo of the scene showed the motorcycle just off the road near some bushes while the Nissan remained in the middle of the road with damage to the front right bumper of the vehicle as well as its windshield.
At this time, the cause of the collision remains unclear as California Highway Patrol officials proceed on with their investigation.
Major traffic delays ensued narrowing down the road to one lane.
