Vehicle Strikes Man on SR-108 in front of Dollar General Store
Jamestown, CA (May 19, 2022) – A pedestrian accident occurred Thursday morning on State Route Highway 108, according to My Motherlode News.
Earlier reports indicated a vehicle struck an individual on SR-108 in front of the Dollar General Store. The collision took place just south of Rawhide Road in Jamestown.
Major Pedestrian Accident on Highway 108 in Jamestown
Shortly after 10 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the man found lying in the roadway. After the evaluation, medical personnel requested for a helicopter. The victim was later airlifted to a Modesto hospital for further treatment of major injuries. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, authorities continue to withhold information on the driver involved in the crash.
Police shut down a portion of Highway 108 to give way to the investigation process. Detectives continue to work at this time to determine liability in the pedestrian accident that occurred on Highway 108 in Jamestown.
