Nuevo Woman Killed in Hit-and-run Crash

PERRIS, Calif. (Oct. 25, 2023) — Jamie Beman, 64, of Nuevo, died Saturday in a two-vehicle crash in Perris at Evans Road and Whispering Wood Lane.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 6:44 p.m. on Oct. 21st, according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.

It’s unknown at this time what led up to the traffic accident. However, driver Jamie Beman sustained major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the second driver reportedly fled the scene on foot without stopping to help her or call for an ambulance.

Investigators are working on the case and searching for the hit-and-run suspect.
