Big Rig Driver Killed in Pasadena Rollover Crash
PASADENA (September 11, 2018) – Jamie Paz, 60, died Tuesday night in a traffic collision involving a big rig on the 210 Freeway, according to CBS Los Angeles and Pasadena Star-News.
The traffic accident took place about 6:30 p.m. just east of Lake Avenue.
The CHP reported that the tractor-trailer was traveling at about 55-60 mph when for a unknown reason it reportedly collided with a GMC truck in the westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway.

The semi-truck overturned following the crash leaving its driver to be trapped inside.
Pasadena Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded to the area and pronounced the operator of the big rig dead at the scene.
The man driving the GMC appeared to be unharmed despite the impact. A full investigation is underway by police to determine the cause and liability.

It’s unknown at this time which driver caused this collision. A full investigation based on the facts and witness statements will determine who is at fault.
