Woman, 65, Hit and Killed by Vehicle on Highway 94
LOCATION: Jamul, San Diego County
DATE OF ACCIDENT: Friday, October 5th
October 6, 2018 – A 65-year-old woman was killed in an alleged hit-and-run collision on Highway 94 near Rancho Miguel Road, according to a local news source.
The accident happened on Friday at about 7:20 p.m.
As per the article, the elderly woman was crossing the road when she was hit by a white Toyota Corolla heading west on Highway 94.

Responding emergency crews rushed the victim to a hospital, where she sadly succumbed to her injuries. At this time, the name of the deceased remained undisclosed pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officials said the Corolla driver at first pulled over and got out of the car, then hopped back in and fled the area. The hit-and-run motorist was ultimately tracked down and arrested.
