Redding Woman, 60, Injured in DUI Crash
REDDING (June 13, 2017)- According to the Record Searchlight, a DUI crash left a Redding woman injured and an Oregon man arrested Tuesday evening on Keswick Dam Road.
Authorities were notified of a collision involving a single vehicle when the driver of a Toyota Tacoma lost control, veered off the road, and struck a power pole.
The collision left the front seat passenger, Janice Millard, 60, of Redding, with moderate injuries as she was transported by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center.
The driver of the vehicle, Rusty Holder, 36, of Oregon, was also injured and taken to Mercy Medical Center. Police officials determined Holder to have been under the influence as he was arrested after being released from the hospital.
No further details have been released at this time.
For this particular case, Janice Miller will have the right to a personal injury claim against the driver Rusty Holder as a result of his negligence and wrongdoing. She will be able to seek compensation for pain and suffering and any medical expenses that she incurs as a result of this incident.
