Jared Wright Injured in Alleged DUI Accident on Vista Chino
LOCATION: Palm Springs
DATE OF ACCIDENT: Tuesday, September 11th
October 24, 2018 – A pedestrian was badly injured after being struck by an alleged drunk driver on Vista Chino, just east of Gene Autry Trail, according to CBS News.
The accident happened on September 11, Tuesday, at approximately 4 a.m.
As per the article, Jared Wright was walking in the area when he was hit by a vehicle driven by Randy Lee Miller. Officials said Miller continued driving from the scene to Cathedral City following the collision.
Shortly after the incident, Cathedral City firefighters located Miller in his home, and apparently found Wright on the roof of the suspect vehicle. Paramedics rushed Wright to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs for treatment of serious injuries.

Meanwhile, county jail records show Miller was arrested, and released from custody the following day on $25,000 bail. On October 24, Wednesday, Miller reportedly pleaded not guilt to felony hit-and-run and DUI charges.
