Rider Dies in Collision Near County Line Road Saturday
Yucaipa, CA (February 20, 2022) – Jared Zeitz, a 22-year-old Yucaipa resident, suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 10 Freeway.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported Zeitz was riding a motorcycle traveling east on the highway in Yucaipa. For an unknown reason, the motorcyclist crash in the area near County Line Road.
Our sources indicated the catastrophic incident took place on February 19 at about 12:34 a.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the rider with life-threatening injuries. Paramedics attempted to save the victim but he sadly passed away at the scene. Authorities later confirmed the identity of the deceased as Jared Zeitz.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event remained unclear. Given that, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the motorcycle accident on Interstate 10 in Yucaipa.
