Teenager Killed in Solo Crash in Malibu
MALIBU, Calif. (Jan. 10, 2019) — Jasmine Centano, 15, died in a solo-vehicle collision at Westward Beach Road and Zuma Bay Way, according to the Los Angeles Coroner.
The collision took place about 11 p.m. on January 2nd. Centano was a passenger in the vehicle. It’s unknown if there were others in the vehicle besides the driver and if anyone else was hurt.
Paramedics transported the teenager to a hospital where she later died the following day at 12:25 a.m. An investigation into what happened is underway by police.

Police are piecing together what caused this collision to determine fault.
At this time, police will speak to any witnesses to learn what happened. It’s unknown if a mechanical malfunction, dangerous driving or speed were factors in the collision.
