Jasmineliney Rosales Fatal Crash Olivas Park Drive and Seaborg Avenue

VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (June 17, 2025) — Jasmineliney C. Rosales, 35, of Ventura, died in a crash Thursday night at Olivas Park Drive and Seaborg Avenue in Ventura.

The Ventura woman was hit by a car while walking near the intersection around 8:55 p.m. on June 12, according to the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The two-vehicle traffic collision took place behind her as she was walking near the intersection. One of the vehicles struck her and both drivers stopped to help her. She suffered major injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Ventura County Medical Center.

However, despite efforts to save her life, she was later pronounced dead at the hospital, officials said.

Meanwhile, one of the drivers involved was treated at the hospital for a minor head injury.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash.
