Pedestrian Killed in HB Collision on Adams Avenue
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (June 19, 2019) – Jason Cahua, 26, of Huntington Beach, was struck by a car and killed early Wednesday morning in a pedestrian accident in Huntington Beach.
The collision took place about 5 a.m. on Adams Avenue, just west of Magnolia Street. The adult male pedestrian was struck by a 62-year-old Huntington Beach man driving a 2004 black Ford Ranger, according to Huntington Beach Paramedics responded and the injured man was rushed to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange where he died about 6:30 a.m. this morning.
The driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with police who are investigating the crash. The initial findings are that alcohol or drugs
were not a factor in the collision.
