Jason Guzman Suspect in Pedestrian Accident Near Taft Elementary School3 Children Hospitalized After Crash in Santa Ana

Santa Ana, CA (May 23, 2022) – Police identified 26-year-old Jason Guzman as the driver involved in a pedestrian accident that occurred Monday near Taft Elementary School, the ABC23 News reported.

Our sources indicated Guzman was apparently kicked off a Southern California school campus for an unknown reason. After officials escorted Guzman out of the school in Santa Ana, he allegedly intentionally drove his car onto the sidewalk. According to the article published online, the driver ended up hitting three children.

Major Injury Pedestrian Accident Near Taft Elementary School

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the juveniles. Paramedics then transported the patients to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation. The names of the children hurt remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Investigators mentioned they found the driver, later identified as Jason Guzman, with self-inflicted stab wound; and with four incendiary devices inside his car.
