VICTORVILLE, California (July 12, 2016) —Jason Henry Hadley, 40, was killed and 37-year-old Yolanda Perez sustained moderate injuries as a result of a 2-car collision on the southbound Interstate 15 freeway near Dale Evans Parkway, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch and an article by VVNG.
The crash took place about 6:12 a.m. this morning between a white Dodge Dart and a white Toyota Prius.
According to the Victor Valley News, Hadley became stranded on the freeway and his white 2011 Toyota Prius appeared to be damaged. He was changing a tire along the freeway when on oncoming Dodge suddenly veered off the freeway and struck the man located at the opposite lane.
The force from the impact killed the father of five children. He has been pronounced dead at the scene by the responding paramedics team. Hadley is survived by his wife Elizabeth and their five children ages 5 to 17 years old. A Go Fund Me account was set up in his name to help them with funeral and other costs.
Anthony Maracle, 33, of San Bernardino was driving the Dodge Dart. His passenger Yolanda Perez suffered moderate injuries and is immediately taken to Antelope Valley Hospital for further treatment.
