Jason Hernandez, 33, Killed in San Bernardino Pedestrian Crash at 5th and Cooley
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (May 30, 2022) – Jason Hernandez was killed after a pedestrian crash at 5th Street and Cooley Street in San Bernardino.
The coroner’s office identified the 33-year-old San Bernardino man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Saturday.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck Jason Hernandez for an unknown reason in San Bernardino. The driver hit him at the intersection of 5th Street and Cooley Street.

Jason Hernandez sustained serious injuries as a result of the pedestrian accident. Deputies reported that the collision occurred on May 28 at about 8:56 p.m.
Paramedics arrived and then found the victim down on the ground as a result of the incident. They soon pronounced him dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, officers did not mention if the driver stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the man. Officials forced the area of 5th Street and Cooley Street to shut down for a time following the incident.
The cause of the San Bernardino pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
