Motorcyclist Killed in Hit-and-run Crash ID’d
FRESNO, Calif. (May 9, 2023) — Jason Missakian, 26, of Fresno, died in a hit-and-run crash while riding a motorcycle Saturday afternoon at Maple Avenue and Washington Avenue in southeast Fresno.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 3:50 p.m. on Friday, May 5th, according to the Fresno Police Department.
Police responded to the intersection of North Maple Avenue and East Washington Avenue and located the injured man in the roadway.
Sadly, Jason Missakian was pronounced dead at the scene. However, the motorist involved in the collision with him fled the scene without stopping to help motorcyclist.
Investigators are piecing together evidence and are searching for the suspect.
