Bicycle Rider Jason Navoy, 45, Killed in Jurupa Valley Crash Near Mission and Tyrolite
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (December 22, 2021) – A bicycle crash killed Jason Navoy near Mission Boulevard and Tyrolite Street in Jurupa Valley.
The coroner’s office identified the 45-year-old Jurupa Valley man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Tuesday.
The incident began when Jason Navoy was riding a bicycle east on Mission Boulevard towards Tyrolite Street in Jurupa Valley. A small sedan was traveling in the same direction at the time.
Deputies said for an unknown reason, the car struck him near the intersection. The Daily Bulletin wrote that the accident occurred on December 21 at about 5:30 p.m.
Bicyclist Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found the bicyclist down on the ground. Jason Navoy sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash.
Medical personnel soon pronounced him dead at the scene. Meanwhile, officers affirmed that the driver of the car ended up unharmed following the wreck.
The motorist stayed at the site after hitting the victim and cooperated with the officials. The cause of the Jurupa Valley crash is still under investigation.
