VICTORVILLE (March 31, 2017)- According to the Victorville Valley News, a major injury motorcycle collision took place Wednesday evening on the southbound Interstate 15 freeway just north of Joshua Street.
The incident was reported at 6:16 p.m. in between Joshua Street and Oak Hill Road.
Jason Wallace, 30, of Rancho Cucamonga, was the operator of a Harley Davidson riding in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes before colliding with a Honda Accord driven by Frances Chalfant, 54, of Pomona.
Limited information has been released at this time regarding the cause of the crash as Wallace was confirmed to have been badly injured following the crash.
Wallace’s injuries included a broken ankle and pains throughout the majority of his body. He was flown to Arrowhead Regional Med Center, per Victorville Valley News.
The report stated that Chalfant was uninjured and that neither drugs nor alcohol was involving factors as CHP officials proceed on with their investigation.
