Javier Calleja, 22, Killed in Car Accident on Highway 395
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY (December 22, 2018) – A man was killed after a traffic collision along Highway 395 in Kramer Junction Friday evening, according to The Press Enterprise.
San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 22-year-old Javier Calleja, of Westminster.
As per the article, officials said at least two vehicles collided head-on on Highway 395. The fatal accident took place on December 21 at about 7:20 p.m., south of Highway 58.

Kern County Fire Department and San Bernardino County Fire Department personnel along with the paramedics responded to the area and determined that Calleja was ejected from his car as a result of the crash.
Calleja succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Victor Valley News wrote that a driver was attempting to pass and struck the other vehicle on the highway. The two cars, a red compact SUV and a gray sedan, sustained major damage upon impact.
Meanwhile, the report did not include if any other party was hurt following the wreck. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
