Panorama City Man, 60, Struck and Killed in Hit-and-run Crash
RESEDA, Calif. (Dec. 31, 2024) – Javier Rueda Madrigal, 60, of Panorama City, died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Saticoy Street, just west of Reseda Boulevard.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office identified the man who died in the collision.
Los Angeles Police Department deputies responded to the scene at 9:36 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27th to the 18600 block of Saticoy Street. They found the victim with major injuries, but the driver had fled without stopping to help the man.
Witnesses told police officers the vehicle was driving eastbound on Saticoy before it hit Javier Rueda Madrigal and continued driving away.
Unfortunately, police do not have a description of the vehicle or driver involved.
The case remains under investigation.
