 Jay Espino Injured in Spring Valley Hit-and-run Motorcycle Crash on Campo Road Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Hit-and-run Collision

SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (Sept. 14, 2022) – Motorcycle rider, Jay Espino, 30, of Spring Valley, suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Campo Road in Spring Valley.

The collision occurred about 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1st, according to San Diego News 10.

A driver in a pickup truck with tinted windows struck the motorcycle rider and fled the scene. Upon impact, Jay Espino was thrown off the bike and rolled towards the curb, according to surveillance video posted on Facebook.

Some Good Samaritans helped the victim and called for paramedics. They took the motorcycle rider to a hospital for treatment of various injuries including a fractured collarbone and shoulder blade, bruised ribs and a lacerated liver.

A GoFundMe page is raising money to help Jay Espino with medical costs.

The suspect’s tan pickup truck is an older-model possibly, a Chevrolet Silverado.
