Jaylyn Boydstun, 22, Killed in Hesperia Crash on Summit Valley Road
HESPERIA, CA (September 29, 2022) – Jaylyn Boydstun was killed after a car crash on Summit Valley Road in Hesperia.
The coroner’s office identified the 22-year-old Hesperia woman as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place last week on Thursday.
The incident happened when Jaylyn Boydstun was driving a white 2010 Dodge Avenger on Summit Valley Road in Hesperia.
1 Critically Injured in Wreck
For an unknown reason, she collided with a gray 2015 Dodge Challenger. The California Highway Patrol said the two cars crashed near Foley Road and just west of Trout Street.
The Victor Valley News wrote that the accident occurred on September 22 at about 6:13 a.m. Jaylyn Boydstun died at the scene of the crash.
The male driver of the Dodge sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. A helicopter flew him to the Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
Meanwhile, CHP forced Summit Valley Road to shut down near the airport at Foley following the wreck. The cause of the Hesperia crash is still under investigation.
