Woman Struck, Killed in Victorville Crash is Identified

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (Dec. 28, 2023) — Jeen Hines, 33, of Victorville, died in a pedestrian accident on Tuesday, Dec. 19th at Palmdale Road and El Evado Road in Victorville.

The deadly crash occurred at around 6:23 p.m. as the woman was attempting to cross Palmdale Road, according to Victor Valley News Group.

A driver in a white Jeep truck struck her in the roadway and she died at the scene, according to the news report. The mother of two young children was later identified as Jeen Mone’ Hines by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner. Her family has created a fundraiser to cover funeral costs.

Meanwhile, police closed down Palmdale Road in both directions to conduct an investigation into what happened and determine fault.

Finally, witnesses may contact investigators at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Victorville Station.
