The accident occurred around 3 p.m.
As per the article, 22-year-old Jeff Miranda said he was blindsided when he was struck by a minivan in the parking lot of Venice Liquor in the corner of Venice and Hobart boulevards.
The victim said the driver did not stop following the collision and took off the scene, with the bike still wedged underneath the vehicle.
Miranda sustained cuts and bruises and required six staples to close a wound to his head.
