Wrongful Death Attorney
Based on the information provided in the report, it appears as though the driver of the involved vehicle will be held responsible as it appears that the rider had the right-of-way. A thorough investigation will ensue, however, as photos that were taken of the scene and compiled evidence will help investigators determine the ultimate cause of the collision. Police officials will examine all potential factors including speed, the possible involvement of alcohol or drugs, or whether or not there were any mechanical issues with the vehicle. The investigation will also consist of looking at measurements of evidence left by the vehicle and the motorcycle such as point of impact, final resting positions, skid marks, and gouge marks.
Pending the results and findings of the investigation for this accident, the surviving family members Jeffery Bacon will likely be granted the right to pursue a wrongful death lawsuit against the driver. Family members of wrongful death victims are entitled to seek a recompense for the funeral costs, loss of future income, and loss of love and companionship.
