Jeffery Lorner Killed Palmdale Motorcycle Crash Rancho Vista Boulevard
Christine Conklin, 64, Injured in Accident on Rancho Vista
PALMDALE (July 14, 2016) – A 45-year-old motorcyclist, Jeffery Lorner, died in a tragic accident on Rancho Vista Boulevard, according to an article by The AV Times.
The fatal crash reportedly occurred between 30th Street West and Seville Street at 6:08 p.m. on July 12.
Per the news release from the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station, a blue 2007 Honda was exiting the driveway of a strip mall and was heading left onto eastbound Rancho Vista Boulevard when it collided with Lorner who was traveling west.
The impact ejected Lorner from his 2000 Yamaha bike and caused him to suffer a severe head trauma. Reports said the Lancaster man was first treated at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics and then transported to Antelope Valley Hospital.
Later the same day, officials sadly pronounced Lorner dead after succumbing to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the 64-year-old Honda driver, Palmdale resident Christine Conklin, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Investigation on the deadly motorcycle accident prompted road closures until about 10:00 p.m. The cause of the crash was not immediately disclosed.
