Jeffrey Pearce Killed in Head-on Car Accident in Los Angeles County
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 10, 2019) — Jeffrey Pearce, 59, was heading out to lunch on Monday when he was critically injured when his vehicle was T-boned by another motorist at East Covina Boulevard and Bonnie Cove Avenue.
The other driver reportedly ran a red traffic light about 11:18 a.m. and crashed into his vehicle on Jan. 7th. Paramedics took Pearce to a hospital, but sadly he later died the following day of his injuries on January 8.
The crash remains under investigation. There were no further details provided at this time.
A Go Fund Me page was created to help pay for his funeral services.
Los Angeles County Accident Investigation
Police are piecing together what caused this collision, but early indications are the driver who ran the red traffic light will be held responsible.
At this time, police will speak to any witnesses to learn what happened. It’s unknown at this time if there was any surveillance cameras or dash cam footage that can help police with their investigation.
