Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near Hosking Road
Bakersfield, CA (November 18, 2022) – Jennifer Ann Belcher, a 35-year-old woman, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on State Route Highway 99.
On October 13, a GMC traveling south on the highway reportedly struck a female party. Our sources indicated the horrible crash took place near the Hosking Road offramp.
Deadly Pedestrian accident on Highway 99 in Bakersfield
The Bakersfield Now News reported the woman was walking across the offramp when the collision happened. According to the article published online, the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries as a result of the wreck. However, it remained unclear whether the victim died at the scene or at a hospital. The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as Jennifer Ann Belcher.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the unfortunate event.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine several unclear factors surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident.
