Woman Killed in Head-on Crash on State Route 330 is Identified
HIGHLAND, Calif. (August 1, 2023) — Jennifer Landers, 44, of Valencia, died in a two-vehicle car accident on Saturday, July 22nd on Highway 330 in Highland.
The 2-vehicle collision occurred around 8:09 a.m., at mile marker 31.40, just north of Highland Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The Alpine Mountaineer reported the drivers of a Ford F-350 flatbed tow truck and a Mazda SUV were involved. The driver in the Ford reportedly veered from the southbound lane of State Route 330 into the path of the white Mazda as it was traveling northbound.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene and located the 44-year-old woman from the Mazda with severe injuries. Paramedics were also at the scene and she was pronounced dead at 8:30 a.m. the same day.
At least one other person suffered injuries and was transported to a hospital, the CHP report said.
Meanwhile, the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner identified the victim as Jennifer Landers.
Finally, the case remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
