Jered Freeman, 35, Badly Hurt in Collision on Hatch Road Thursday
Modesto, CA (August 21, 2021) – Jered Freeman, a 35-year-old man, suffered serious injuries following a bicycle accident that occurred on Hatch Road.
On August 19, Thursday, Jered Freeman was riding a bicycle heading west on Hatch Road. When the cyclist approached the area near Dallas Street, Jered Freeman turned his bicycle to the left and went into the path of an oncoming box truck.
The Modesto Bee News reported the truck operator, Lima-Galdamez, turned his truck to the left in an effort to avoid a collision. However, the front of the truck hit the bike.

Shortly after 1:15 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. First responders found Jered Freeman with serious injuries to his head. An ambulance rushed the victim to Doctors Medical Center for treatment.
Meanwhile, the truck driver appeared unharmed after the wreck.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon to investigate the precise cause of the bicycle accident in Modesto.
