Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man Near Friant Road
Fresno, CA (April 18, 2022) – Jeremy Baker, a 42-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Highway 41.
The Fresno Bee News reported a vehicle struck a male party in the southbound side of SR-41. Officials said the collision took place just north of Friant Road on April 12.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Highway 41 in Fresno
Shortly after 11 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash site. First responders found the victim lying near the center divider of the highway. According to the article published online, the front driver’s side of the vehicle hit the pedestrian. The force from the impact threw the man onto the direction of the center median. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died.
The Fresno County Corner’s Office identified the deceased as Jeremy Baker.
Meanwhile, the occupants in the 2009 Cadillac reportedly appeared unharmed after the collision.
Detectives stayed at the scene for several hours. They continue to investigate liability in the deadly pedestrian accident on Highway 41 in Fresno.
