SAN DIEGO, Calif. (March 2, 2023) — Jeremy David Glenn, 45, of San Diego, died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident at Tulip Street and Trailing Drive in San Diego.
The deadly hit-and-run collision was discovered around 10 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26th in the Fairmount Park area, according to the San Diego Medical Examiner.
“A passerby found the injured decedent lying in the roadway at the intersection of Trailing Drive and Tulip Street in the city of San Diego,” the coroner said. The passerby called 9-1-1 for help and soon police and fire paramedics responded to the scene, the report said.
Paramedics provided life-saving measures and transported the injured man to the emergency department at Scripps Mercy Hospital. However, despite further efforts to save his life, he died at 10:47 p.m. the same night.
Police gathered evidence at the scene to determine what led to the hit-and-run crash. However, there is no description of the suspect’s vehicle at this time.
The San Diego Police Department’s traffic bureau are heading up an investigation into the crash and are searching for a suspect.
