Jeremy Richard Olivas Killed in Hit-and-run Crash in City of Industry
CITY OF INDUSTRY (January 22, 2020) – Jeremy Richard Olivas, 27, was killed and another person was severely burned in a hit-and-run crash late Thursday night on the 60 Freeway in the City of Industry.
Police responded to the multi-vehicle accident about 10 p.m. at Crossroads Parkway, according to reports by KTLA and ABC 7 News.

The collision took place in the westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway, according to a California Highway Patrol report. Police say Olivas was driving a Ford Mustang that was rear-ended by a Dodge Ram. The Ford then crashed into a 2006 Honda Odyssey and both vehicles caught on fire.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene where Olivas was pronounced dead.
The 41-year-old Montebello man driving the Honda was hospitalized with severe burn injuries.
Kaj Faaborg, 42, who was driving the Dodge, fled the scene, but was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
