Driver Killed in Collision at SR-46 and SR-41 Interchange
Chalome, CA (May 31, 2023) – Jesse Moore, a 31-year-old man, died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of State Route Highway 46 and 41 Tuesday, May 30.
The KSBY News reported Moore, of Gilroy, was behind the wheel of a car traveling west on SR-46. Our sources indicated Moore approached the Highway 41 Interchange and continued driving. At about the same time, a Ford Explorer headed east on SR-46 entered the “Y” crossing. Officials said the Ford drove directly into the path of the car of Moore, leading to the horrible crash.
Deadly Car Accident in Chalome
Shortly after 7:14 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found one driver suffering in serious injuries. An ambulance rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, where he later sadly succumbed to his trauma and passed away. Authorities revealed the identity of the deceased as Jesse Moore.
Meanwhile, the driver and passenger in the Ford both sustained minor injuries as a result of the wreck. Personal information on the survivors remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the deadly crash that happened at State Route Highway 46 and 41 in Chalome.
