Truck Struck, Killed Pedestrian Near I-210 Freeway
LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE, Calif. (Nov. 7, 2022) – Jesse Villarreal, 22, was struck by a truck on Ocean View Boulevard next to the Foothill (210) Freeway in La Canada Flintridge.
The collision occurred about 10:14 a.m. on Nov. 5th in this unincorporated area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified the victim.
The California Highway Patrol reports the young man was in the slow lane of southbound Ocean View Boulevard.
A witness reported the man was seen running into traffic lanes before being hit by the truck, CHP Officer Stephan Brandt said.
The truck driver stopped and cooperated with authorities.
CHP officials are investigating the crash and will determine fault.
