Jessica Woodington, Ryan Williams Injured in Crash at Road 222 and Pettitt Road
OAKHURST (September 11, 2018) – The woman and the man who were injured after a fatal crash at Road 222 and Pettitt Road almost two months ago have been identified, according to The Fresno Bee.
Jessica Woodington, 31, and Ryan Williams, 33, were victims of the tragic collision which occurred on July 24 at about 2:51 p.m.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said Woodington was driving a Hyundai Tuscon with Williams as a passenger east on Road 222 when they were struck by a Kia Forte.
Haroleen Bowlan Killed in Oakhurst Car Crash
The Forte driven by 69-year-old Haroleen Bowlan was traveling west on Road 222 when for an unknown the Oakhurst resident crossed over the double yellow line and hit the Tucson.
CHP affirmed that Woodington was extricated from the wreckage and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno with broken bones in her feet. Williams sustained minor wounds upon impact.
Woodington is now recovering and will undergo physical therapy, and possibly a second surgery to remove a metal plate in one foot.
Meanwhile, Officials added that Bowlan was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
