Jesus Berrios II, 33, Killed in Crash on 80 Freeway Sunday
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, Ca (September 24, 2019) – The 33-year-old motorcyclist killed in a traffic collision Sunday on the Interstate 80 Freeway has been identified as Jesus Berrios II, of Castro Valley.
According to the East Bay Times, Berrios was riding a motorcycle on the freeway near the Carquinez Bridge. For reasons still under investigation, the motorcyclist crashed into the rear of an eastbound car.
Deadly Car and Motorcycle Accident in Contra Costa County, September 22
Emergency teams responded to the crash shortly after 6:30 p.m. and found Berrios thrown off the side of the bridge. Paramedics sadly pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the car appeared unharmed after the accident.
Liabilities in the deadly collision remained unknown.
